Last night was the first time I’ve played in Global Conflict for about 6 months (completely missed the last campaign). It’s one of several large scale, 32v32, Battlefield 4 tournaments you can play in.
I enjoy playing in GC because it’s well organised and at a reasonable skill level. They’ve had some issues with Battlefield 4 – who hasn’t! – so one reason for last night’s scrim was to test out the servers after the recent patch.
Here’s the first round from the scrim. It was a long match but worth the watch as the match was hard fought and tight.
Have you bought Space Hulk? If so, what are your impressions?
If, like me, you’ve ever “partaken” of the Warhammer 40K universe, then you’ll know all about the Blood Angels and Genestealers. Nasty little buggers.
Full Control’s Space Hulk is the latest video game to bear the Space Hulk name, and here is its trailer. Perhaps not the best trailer ever created, but there is something about it that just sends tingles down your spine.
At least, it’s supposed to be a dying platform. DICE put up a poll on BLOG for players to vote on what platform they’ll be playing BF4 on. To no-one’s surprise the PC is currently the resounding leader. In fact 72% of people said they’d be playing BF4 on the PC, with the second place going to the PS4 with 10%.
Perhaps we’ll actually see the PC as the lead platform this time?
Here’s the results of the poll as of the time of writing, after 112422 votes:
PC – 72%
PlayStation 4 – 10%
PlayStation 3 – 7%
Xbox 360 – 5%
Xbox One -5%
(yes, I know that’s 99%, but that’s what the poll shows at the moment!)
