I am SO looking forward to this game. Hopefully it’ll be somewhere near as good as the old MechWarrior series were.

I used to play the table top counter and sheet game in the late 80′s back when Battletech was in its infancy and I must say…in armored combat today in the real world, tanks take careful precision shots from distances b/c they are just too valuable and costly. Same thing happens in the World of Tanks game. Our old Battletech sessions used to be realistic like this. I hope this game does not focus solely on unloading everything every single encounter. That will make it boring REAL fast.

[..YouTube..] Something about the game feels too clean…I think it has to do with the atmospheric perspective and the environments as well as the clean cut look of the mechs and the UI’s themselves. It just feels too….arcade-ey :/
